In addition to education and training, the Kenniscentrum Geluidsisolatie develops and manages independent technical reference frameworks, including
NHR-ACOUSTICS-01:2025 – Acoustic Comfort and Quietness in Hotels.

This handbook serves as a performance-based guideline for architects, property developers, hotel groups and consultants. It supports a consistent and transparent approach to acoustic quality within the hospitality sector and is product-independent, internationally applicable and complementary to applicable laws and regulations.

KGI Academy

The KGI Academy, the internal training centre of the Kenniscentrum Geluidsisolatie, places people at the centre. Through the structured sharing of knowledge and practical experience, the quality of services and the execution of sound insulation measures are continuously improved, resulting in a higher and more reliable end result.
