NHR-ACOUSTICS-01:2025 is an independent, performance-based technical guideline that defines acoustic comfort and quietness standards for hotels.
The guideline provides an internationally applicable reference framework for architects, property developers, hotel groups and acoustic consultants involved in the design, construction, renovation and operation of hotel buildings.

The guideline:
is not a certification scheme;
does not prescribe products or suppliers;
does not replace applicable laws or regulations;
becomes binding only when explicitly incorporated into contractual documentation.
The managing body does not act as a certifying or commercial entity.
